Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced, plus 2 tbsp juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down 4-5 minutes, flip, and cook 3-4 more minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add asparagus and cook 3-4 minutes until charred and crisp-tender.
  4. Push asparagus aside, add butter and garlic, and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, then return salmon to the pan and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh dill. Serve immediately.
