Krispy Kreme's Spring 2026 Collection Has Four Flavors Worth Going Out of Your Way For

Krispy Kreme releases seasonal collections constantly, which means most of them slide past without much fanfare. The Spring 2026 lineup, though, has four flavors worth going out of your way for, and that is not something we say about every Krispy Kreme drop.

We tried all four. Here is what actually stood out.

The Four Flavors

Lemon Filled: This is the anchor of the spring lineup and it earns that position. The dough is Krispy Kreme's standard glazed dough, which is the right call - the lemon filling does not need to compete with a flavored dough, it needs a neutral base to shine against. The filling is bright and genuinely tart, not the vague lemon-flavored sweetness that fills most chain bakery pastries. It tastes like someone squeezed actual lemons into it. The glaze on the exterior is standard original glazed, which keeps the whole thing from tipping into too-sweet territory.

Strawberry Sprinkle: The strawberry sprinkle doughnut is the most photogenic of the four and it more or less delivers on the visual promise. Strawberry glaze on the outside, strawberry cream filling, rainbow sprinkles. The filling is lighter than the lemon - more whipped cream adjacent than fruit forward - and the strawberry flavor is pleasant but mild. This is the crowd-pleaser of the collection, the one you order for someone who wants something sweet and pretty rather than something with serious flavor depth.

Lavender Honey Glazed: This is the sleeper of the lineup and the one worth paying attention to if you are willing to try something less conventional. The lavender is restrained, which is the only way lavender works in food. Too much and it tastes like soap. At this level it reads as floral and slightly herbal, and the honey glaze underneath it adds a natural sweetness that pairs well. The dough is filled with a honey cream that is genuinely good. This is the most interesting flavor in the collection.

Chocolate Raspberry: The fourth flavor is a chocolate-glazed doughnut with a raspberry filling. This combination has been done extensively by bakeries and chains for years, which means the bar for doing it well is clearly defined. Krispy Kreme's version clears it. The raspberry filling is tart enough to cut through the chocolate glaze and the two flavors stay in balance across the whole doughnut. Not revolutionary but well-executed.

Ordering Notes

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are at their best when they are fresh and, ideally, warm. The hot light at the store is the signal - if it is on, the glazed doughnuts coming off the line right now are in a different category than the same doughnuts sitting in a case for four hours. The filled doughnuts hold up better than the glazed over time because the filling keeps the interior moist, but even those are noticeably better fresh.

If you are buying a dozen to take somewhere, call ahead or check the app to time your pickup around a fresh run. The difference is significant enough to be worth the minor logistical effort.

Which One to Order First

Start with the Lavender Honey. If that sounds too adventurous, start with the Lemon Filled. Both are doing something more interesting than the average chain seasonal doughnut and both are worth the trip on their own. The Strawberry Sprinkle is the right call if you are buying for a group and need something broadly appealing. The Chocolate Raspberry is the reliable choice if you already know you want chocolate.

The collection is available at participating Krispy Kreme locations through the end of the spring season. Check the Krispy Kreme app for availability at your nearest location.
