Culver's Scoops of Thanks Day Returns May 7 to Support Agricultural Education

Culver's is bringing back its annual "Scoops of Thanks Day" fundraiser on Thursday, May 7, 2026, offering a unique way for fans to support agricultural education across the country.

During this one-day event, guests can purchase a single scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard for just $1, with all proceeds going directly to local FFA (Future Farmers of America) chapters through Culver's Thank You Farmers Project. This year marks the twelfth annual Scoops of Thanks Day since the initiative launched in 2016.

The frozen custard options include classic Vanilla or Chocolate Fresh Frozen Custard, plus a limited-edition flavor called Blue Barn Brownie. This special flavor combines Vanilla Fresh Frozen Custard swirled with fudge and caramel, then topped with gooey brownie pieces — a custom creation designed specifically for this year's fundraiser.

The impact has been significant. Since 2016, Scoops of Thanks Day has raised more than $1 million for agricultural education programs nationwide. Last year alone, the event served 171,319 scoops across participating Culver's locations, demonstrating the brand's commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders.

"We're proud to continue our partnership with the FFA," said a Culver's representative. "This annual event allows our guests to enjoy delicious frozen custard while making a real difference in agricultural education."

The funds raised support hands-on learning experiences for students pursuing careers in agriculture, food production, and related fields. Participating Culver's restaurants will donate their portion of the $1 per scoop directly to their local FFA chapters.

Culver's has become known for its commitment to agricultural communities, reflected in its "Thank You Farmers" messaging throughout the year. The frozen custard chain sources fresh, locally-produced ingredients whenever possible, making this fundraiser a natural extension of that philosophy.

Guests interested in participating can visit their nearest Culver's location on May 7, 2026. The event is open to all customers, and the $1 donation is optional but encouraged to support agricultural education initiatives.

For more information about Scoops of Thanks Day or to find a participating Culver's location, customers can visit the brand's official website or contact their local restaurant.
